Good to know: Sarandë has a ferry port opposite Corfu, but no airport and no railway station. Tirana airport is far away; Corfu is reached only after an international ferry crossing. In summer the road through Ksamil is busy, and a beach photograph does not guarantee a landing: sea conditions and the operator’s route decide the stops.

Are Blue Eye and Butrint in Sarandë?

No. Both are excursions outside the city. Typical tour itineraries allow about 30 minutes by van toward Blue Eye and around 20 minutes between Ksamil and Sarandë, but summer traffic can make road times longer.

Does Sarandë have an airport or train station?

No. Sarandë has a ferry port and road connections, but no airport and no railway station. Tirana airport is about 284 km away; arriving through Corfu still requires a ferry and border formalities.
